I like to call myself a globetrotter, I love to travel, and I have been lucky enough to live abroad for some time. Today here in Rome, I manage several holiday homes, of which I personally took care of the furniture, preserving the original style, and inserting modern details. Going south, the Esquiline Hill extends between the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and Trajan's markets with the Imperial Forums. This historic neighborhood is the Rione Monti, it takes its name from the fact that it occupies several hills, including the Esquiline. It is a neighborhood to discover, both for its churches and its alleys, as well as for its nice bars, clubs and restaurants which you can pleasantly enjoy in the evening. Among its notable monuments, the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli houses Michelangelo's Moses. We also talk about the extraordinary church of Santa Prassede. Towards the north-west and the Quirinale hill, the circular Piazza della Repubblica faces the imposing remains of the Baths of Diocletian. Part of these houses the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli and one of the seats of the important National Roman Museum. The Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, closest to the train station, houses much of the museum's collection.
