The streets around Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza dei Ciompi have an especially appealing, local feel, and they get lively after dark. The neighborhood boasts some of the best restaurants and bars in the city. Aperitivo hour is vibrant along these streets. The quarter is dotted with artisanal workshops, restorers and antique dealers. A genuine florentine experience, but still in the center of the city. You can walk anywhere from here.
