POSSIBLE EXTRA COSTS: 1) Tourist tax: The municipality of Genoa applies a tourist tax of 3,00 euro/day per person (up to 8 nights) which will be collected in cash upon arrival by the person in charge of check-in. From here, using the trains, it is possible to reach all the destinations of the Riviera and beyond, therefore moving towards the East you will find places such as Camogli, Recco up to Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino, Sestri Levante, Moneglia and continuing for about an hour and a half from the famous Cinque Terre. In the opposite direction you can visit places such as Arenzano, Varazze, Alassio, Albenga, Sanremo, pearl of the Riviera dei Fiori, Imperia, Bordighera until you reach the French border, about 2 hours by car. From here you can have access to the main cities of the French Riviera like Menton, Nice and MonteCarlo.
