Welcome at Spói Guesthouse! Our guesthouse has 6 bedrooms and a spacious living room area equipped with a coffee machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, and kettle. The house is about 260 square meters. It has a large yard, and is close to Gallerý Pizza Restaurant in Hvolsvöllur.  As a local family business, our guesthouse offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, making each guest feel like a part of our extended family. Greetings to everyone! Let me introduce myself and the story behind Spói Guesthouse. My name is Kitti. I moved to Iceland and found my true home in Hvolsvöllur. Hospitality is my passion, and I've worked in various hotels and guesthouses here, learning how to create memorable experiences for guests. After eight years, Me and my husband decided to open our own guesthouse. In June, we reopened Spói Guesthouse, reflecting our love for hospitality and desire to welcome travellers.

Hvolsvöllur, in southern Iceland, is surrounded by stunning nature and close to famous spots like Gullfoss, Vík, Seljalandfoss, Skógar waterfalls, and Vestmannaeyjar. It's a great starting point for adventures, rich in stories like the Njáls saga, and full of volcanic landscapes, including Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla. Outdoor lovers can hike, enjoy the pure nature, or try thrilling activities like glacier hikes and Super Jeep tours. Don't forget to visit Þórsmörk, a beautiful nearby nature reserve with great hiking trails. And in autumn- beginning of spring, you might see the mesmerizing Northern Lights!
