This is a modern hotel, but built in a very attractive heritage style. The staff add thoughtful touches in the rooms, like local sweets and wax-embossed welcome notes. Since we traveled in the off season, the hotel was excellent value considering its high quality. At the evening musical performance we expected the traditional performance we had heard a number of times in Rajasthan and elsewhere, but this one had unique instruments local to the desert landscape. I especially enjoyed morning yoga with the surrounding birdsong. Breakfast was fantastic with a flautist in the balcony.

This boutique hotel was a wonderful surprise. The location could not be better in the heart of the old Jaisalmer Fort. We paid extra for a room with private pillow-filled balcony overlooking the fort walls that was magical. Excellent breakfast served on the roof. Note that given location, hotel can only be served by rickshaw, not car.

A nice and relaxing traditional semi-desert town with the friendliest people (and cows) you can meet. You can just wander around and enjoy. Nobody would harass you, just friendly people greeting you, young and old, and friendly cows, of course.
You can visit the town's attractions or simply sit and enjoy observing the vibrant local life.

The Jaisalmer fort is located on top of a rock.
The Jaisalmer fort is located on top of a rock. Inside the fort there is old town. There are private houses inside the fort. Walking around the small small lanes is very interesting. But be very careful about the local people. They will try to cheat you somehow or the other. Even if you take a guide, the guide will make you pay double the money because they get commission whatever you spend during your visit.
I have seen people sitting next to me in a terrace, paying INR 500 for two coffees and I paid the same coffees INR 140. Because their guide told the waiter to take INR 500 from them. It was so sad… people of Rajastan specially guides and drivers and shop owners are looting foreigners.

Jaisalmer was definitely more touristy, then the other cities we had visited before. In a way, this made our short stay there more comfortable. People on the street were friendly and greeted us, without trying to sell us anything.

A very good combination of History, Culture, Gastronomic delights and contemporary sightseeing. I recommend the Jaisalmer Fort Or the Golden Fort (has historical artefacts), the War Museum, Gadisar Lake and the surroundings, Folklore Museum and Desert Cultural Centre (set up Shri Nand Kishore Sharma, 94 years old, in1983. The Desert Cultural Centre also hosts a puppet show (two showings a day) in the evening.

500 year old Haveli in the heart of the Jaisalmer fort. The same family has lived there all these years.
Haveli is incredibly beautiful, with frescoes, wood and stone carvings. Everything is clean, all the facilities are present. The shower is pretty good, being in a desert it's nice to take a few times a day.
Service is super friendly, it feels like staying with a family, rather than at a hotel. Shubham gave a tour of Jaisalmer and shared the history of that beautiful city.
I'll happily stay at Suraj again.
Everything was perfect. Our room got upgraded to the suite (beautiful rooms) and the staff including Sahil, Papu & Mehrab was sweet, helpful and did everything to make our stay & tours comfortable.
Sahil (the hotel owner) arranged desert tours and camel rides which was authentic and a great experience. We also tried to cook fresh local mutton with Sahil & Mehrab on the rooftop with open fire and it tasted amazing.
I can fully recommend this place and I will visit this place again next time I am in Jaisalmer.
Mr Raj and Bimal were extremely warm in making us feel welcomed. Kept us well informed of just the right details we needed in Jaisalmer.
The rooms are better than what the images portray.
The view from the fort/hotel window is gorgeous.
The common area on the terrace is stunning at all times of the day!
The hotel is located at a 5 minute walk from the last point at which vehicles are allowed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel and I would surely recommend Hotel Saffron.
My stay at Mystic Jaisalmer was absolutely fantastic. The place is as beautiful as on pics. Maybe a bit more:)
The Staff was really carrying of all my needs and it was by far the nicest hotel I've stayed in, while my Trip to India.
The location right outside the old city was assuring quiet nights for a good sleep, still a few minutes distance walk from all sites, worth seeing when in Jaisalmer.
Would definitely recommend for everybody to spoil themselves and stay in this Hotel!
It was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located at a prime location. The host is very cooperative. It feels like a home away from home. Rooms are spacious, clean and the service is really good. Food is also nice. The view of the Jaisalmer fort from the window and the terrace is worth the price alone. Highly recommended.Mr. Swaroop, the owner is a very helpful person. The house help who is Mr Swaroop too, is at hi toes always to be at your service. Have a great stay.
If you are looking for a good hotel, with awesome ambience, good food and well behaved hotel staff, then Heritage house in Jaisalmer is the place for you, here you will get awesome atmosphere, well decorated rooms with Rajasthani feelings, all the staffs here are very disciplined, they are always ready to make you feel special, during our stay, we also experienced the same , with a special mention of one of their staff named Daud Khan.
Fort Villa is what best defines Indian hospitality.
The welcome is warm, you feel at home, and the whole hotel operates on the basis of trust.
Everything flows smoothly, and if you're lucky enough to spend your birthday here, you'll be delighted to blow out the candles on your cake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on the hotel rooftop.
A hidden gem in the fortress of Jaisalmer, an experience on the edge of Rajhastan.
Prince is by far the most humble host I met in my life. He offered me often some Chai without extra charge and also offered me many times food in the evening.
The price is really good, I was shocked how cheap it was. Of course you don't get a room on a 5 Star hotel level. Nevertheless, the price is still really really low for this amazing service you get.
If you ever plan to visit Jaisalmer, go to Little Prince!
The Guset house is located inside fort Jaisalmer.great location to stay on fort with amazing view front of temple sunset, city and sunrise view ,staffs are really sweet and friendly always helpful,It is really safe for solo travelers too as it is a family run hotel.Room very comfortable and clean rooms, very good food, also best view form rooftop,

Railway station is just 10 minutes far from the hotel. if i visit again to Jaisalmer definitely I'm gonna stay in Hostel Crowd. Overall fantastic.
Such a beautiful hotel. Jaisalmer itself is so charming and filled with wonderful people, sights and history and this hotel fits in perfectly. The room are immaculate as are the lobby. The pool area is something to behold. We loved the overall ambience of the palace, all of the staff were hospitable. We will definitely be back.
My experience has been great with hotel chandra haveli
. Location is very suitable. 5 min away from hanuman chowk which has all the eateries and market. Rooms are nice, clean and tidy. And service is very nice. It was like a second home for 1 days of stay in jaisalmer. I highly recommend this property.
The hotel is in a perfect location near the fort....
The staff was very welcoming and friendly and took good care. The roof top restaurant is the cherry on top it offers a great view of the Jaisalmer Fort and serves delicious food too. I will refer the hotel to every solo traveler visiting jaisalmer.
Very good hotal near jaisalmer fort . Room are net & clean 👌. Hotel room service is very good . Must try roof top restaurant chef 👨🍳 Sadam is very good ,prepare delicious food .outside hotal food is very costly & not worth better to go roof top restaurant.
The property is simply amazing . staff is even better . you can compare it to typical 5 star hotels as they have limitations due to the location . the only thing they should add is a gym . there is no gym on or anywhere near the property
