The favourite place I've visited in Vagamon is the Mottakunnu which is situated near Vagamon meadows. I stayed in Vagamon Clouds, an Apartment stay which was situated near Vagamon town. I ate from both vacation towns and restaurants on the way to vagamon. The climate is a little bit cold. It's better to keep a jacket with you. Better, order food from your stay itself if they provide you. Restaurants are very costly and the food is pathetic.

Nice nature location. Off-roading often required. Would rate it somewhat below Munnar as a vacation outing. Good accommodation and restaurants are hard to come by. A somewhat small hill-town, with limited outing areas as compared to Munnar. Just my personal opinion. Cleanliness and the service are excellent. Akhil and Kailash were so good at the hospitlity. They provided whatever we asked. Such a humble and courteous staff. I strongly recommend to stay at Ave Meadows during the visit to Vagamon.
