Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed. I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

Tel Aviv is a scintillating, varied and exciting city with everything for tourists, young and elderly. Music, opera house, concerts, classical and jazz. Art galleries and museums… cafes,bars and beaches. For all denominations, Synagogues, mosques and churches in Jaffa. Markets by the port, in the centre of the city and in Jaffa. If needed, first class health facilities, hospitals and clinics. Trains, buses and the new light railway, also taxis are in plenty People are welcoming and helpful. The best is just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. I appreciated the fact that breakfast took account of the dietary restrictions for Passover. While this is no luxury hotel, it is clean and comfortable and provides all one could ask for, including a nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Dream Beach Boutique Hotel is in a great location just one street away from the beach and short walking distance to the old town. Even Jaffa old town is walkable, being only 3km away. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, but a little small (as stated on the website). Breakfast is just a few steps away in a sister property. The manager Arthur and his staff were all friendly and very helpful.
