Teach Barney is located in the stunning North West of Donegal 1km from Gaeltacht Village of Falcarragh with views of the mountains and the ocean. The house is comfortable with a large private decked area. Visitors can enjoy walking/cycling on many miles of marked walks including the disused single gauge railway. The pristine beaches, ocean and mountains are within minutes of the house, ideal for deep sea fishing, surfing, kayaking, boat trips, guided walks, mountain climbing and cycling. The village is a one minute drive or 5 minute walk from the house and has shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs with good food and lively traditional music. Guests can also access the local 9 hole golf course and the local woods with a marked 5k walk. The Renowned Glenveagh National Park is 15km away passing the famous Bridge of Tears. Teach Barney is within a 35 minute drive of Letterkenny, 20 minutes to Gweedore and 10 minutes to Dunfanaghy. More information The space This traditional comfortable bungalow style house is ideal for families and couples on a secure site. It is fully equipped with a complete range of modern appliances.
We are a couple with two young children. Located in the West Donegal Gaeltacht village of Falcarragh. We are blessed to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty with mountains, deserted beaches and fantastic walks within minutes of our home.
