The house is situated in a quiet residential area, 100 metres from the marina and the river and only a five minute walk to the centre of town where all the shops, cafe's, restaurants, bars and amenities are located. The Ringforts, Ballycarbery castle, the old barracks heritage centre, Daniel O'Connell memorial church, beaches, watersports, cycling, mountain walking, horseriding can all be explored and experienced in the area. Skellig Island boat trips depart from Portmagee village which is only a 15 min drive away. Cahersiveen is an ideal base to explore all the places on the Iveragh peninsula such as Valentia island, Portmagee, Ballinskelligs, Waterville and Derrynane/Caherdaniel. Cahersiveen is also an ideal base in which to visit Kenmare, Killarney, Tralee and Dingle which are all only 1 to 1.5 hour drive away.
