Awesome ocean views, private access road, secure, safe cozy home in peaceful natural surroundings, around the corner from Supersucks world-famous for surfing. MalukVilla is our home away from home. When we are away - guests who appreciate and respect our natural environment, cultural diversity, and proximity to the ocean can book and have the entire villa to themselves. We support our neighbours including a young couple from the nearby village who manage the Airbnb for us and look after you.
Getting to old age hasn't stopped us from seeking adventures, travelling and exploring. MalukVillaStay is our home away from home. When we are away we are happy to make our favourite place available for guests who appreciate and respect our natural environment, cultural diversity and the close proximity to the ocean with the comforts and conveniences of home. If surfing is your passion, you are only a few minutes scooter ride away from world-famous waves at Supersucks. Our neighbour and Airbnb caretaker Hassan and his wife will be available to help guests with any villa-related issues. He will be your primary contact person. Guests are expected to be responsible for their cleaning and laundry. Please conserve water from the rainwater tank, it is our only water supply source. Guests are expected to minimise environmental footprints too: please make sure the aircons and lights are off before you go out
The villa is only a few hundred meters away from a small Indonesian Muslim village, at the river mouth; a community comprising of about fifteen Muslim families. Please respect their way of life and refrain from any excessive noise particular during calls to prayers. Best way to get around is hire a scooter from Hassan our Caretaker who has some availabe at times; or pre-arrange a hire car. I often walk along the beach to the town centre ( 30 min) and get a ‘yellow helmet’, like a ‘Grab’ or Uber bike to drop me back home. There are always several yellow helmet guys driving around town looking for customers. There is plenty of space for parking at the back of the villa.
