The apartments were refurbished to make them a high-quality accommodation for our guests in all seasons, and the living quarters on the ground floor were made baby-friendly - as parents with small children, we know what those arriving with tiny ones may need. These renovations are continuous, we are planning to spruce up the apartment year by year in the future. The apartment is ideal for separate families or groups of friends, but the entire house can be rented out as well, making it suitable to accommodate company events, team buildings or sport camps. As a locale for get-togethers, the dining area and kitchen situated in the basement can also be provided for the guests. We value environmental awareness, which is why upstairs a mild climate is ensured by window shades, ventilators and the summer-scented, cool, night Balaton breeze. We believe in the significance of two-way communication and maintain that there are no unmeetable requests or unsolvable issues, so do not hesitate to contact us with any queries.
Ever since I can remember,my family has spent almost every vacation near the Balaton,the beauty of the lake and its alluring water enchanted us.The summers of my childhood were spent on the shore of the beautiful blue-green water first in Füred,then in Széplak.My love for water has seen me through my whole life,I have been swimming and playing water polo for years.My husband and I got married in 2016.My spouse’s parents, who share a deep affection towards Balaton,the countryside and nature,have lived in Balatonboglár for fifty years.They cultivated grapes on the hills and for centuries,my father-in-law had made award-winning wines.They opened the Atlantika Apartment in 2003,named after the evergreen Cedrus Atlantica(Atlas cedar)rising in front of the house,planted by my mother-in-law,a horticulturist who wholeheartedly adores plants.Years went by and we founded a family,while the grandparents started to long for rest.That is why we decided to take over and manage the apartment for them.Our goal is to create the basis for pleasant relaxation,meaningful recreation,or carefree entertainment for people of all ages.We hope that what Balaton means to us can be shared with our guests,too.
A pleasant 8 minute walk will take you to the cost-free Kodály Zoltán beach.The beach is excellent for families with children as well, as a baby care room was opened here next to the playground and the shallow water.The Globe observatory can also be reached by a short walk, next to it the Adventure park with a bobsleigh track, cableway and play castle offers an opportunity for entertainment. In case of bad weather, you can spend a guaranteed worthwhile time in the Alfa Family Playhouse and Vitamin Bar with small children as well.Nearby the amusement park, a circus, a sand volleyball court and a football field, a tennis court, a gym, a swimming pool offer recreational opportunities.You can try horse riding in the nearby Rádpuszta,take the opportunity to go-kart or relax on the sandy beach in Balatonlelle, visit the spa or take a boat ride.Restaurant and ice-cream parlours are just a few minutes away from the apartment.Those who fancy warm thermal baths are awaited in Csisztapuszta,Igal, and Héviz close-by.During winter, you can have an amazing experience and take a water tour on the Hévíz-stream.The city centre can also be reached on foot, where you can find everything you may need.
