Apartment Cosy Nest in Barbat is located in a quiet environment right on the promenade by the sea. Nearby there are many beautiful beaches as well as various facilities such as markets and quality fish restaurants. Barbat is a small fishing village that offers a beautiful view of the neighboring island of Dolin and unforgettable romantic walks along the sea to the old town and the center of the island of Rab. The nearby beaches are the perfect place to rest and swim in the clear sea and are only a few minutes away on foot. Apartment Cosy Nest in Barbat is equipped with air conditioning to make your stay more comfortable and pleasant and for the full experience beautiful sunsets that you can watch from the balcony will take care of. When the sun falls, the romance continues with Ambilight TV, which will give your favorite TV content a special experience.

Neighbourhood information

Barbat is the first place on the island that you will come across after disembarking from the ferry. Surrounded by pebble beaches, restaurants are supplied by local fishermen. We definitely recommend tasting the famous Kvarner shrimp or at least some locally grown vegetables. Known for its shipbuilders, Barbat is a favorite destination for boaters, and for those who are more interested, Barbat offers the possibility of a trip to the early Christian military fortress on the hill of St. Damian. Barbat has its own holiday called "Karmenica" which is celebrated on July 16 with a rich gastronomic offer. It is connected to the town of Rab by a six-kilometer coastal promenade, ideal for morning cycling or running if you are a fan of this type of sports activity.
