Our Villa is situated on a small peninsula near the beautiful and peaceful place Povlja on the island of Brac, Croatia. The environment is very quite without traffic road, convenient for families with children. We offer 2 apartments: the both for 4 persons. The apartments are situated on the ground floor of stone made villa with sea view. Bedrooms are equipped with standard furniture. Kitchen contains all the necessities for preparing and serving meals. A large covered terrace is a place for gathering and dining. Stone-paved courtyard is very suitable for children and the elderly. Parking is located next to the villa. Barbecue is located in the courtyard and guests are available for free. Particularly interesting is the wine cellar where guests can buy white and red wine, brandy, olive oil, sherry ... The nearest beach is 80 m away. The beach is pebbles and stones. We also offer you for free: air conditioning, fast internet, Wi-Fi, SAT TV (Astra and Hot Bird).
I am a housewife and I like to prepare homemade dishes of meat and fish. Processing small garden where produce ecological fruit. I like to read, listen to music and watch good movies.
In the season 2003 Povlja were declared the most beautiful destination in the category of small tourist places according to Tourist Board of the Dalmatian region. Povlja is situated on the north-eastern side of the island of Brac, tugged in a gulf consisting of about ten smaller bays of which the most beautiful and attractive is The Harbor of Povlja. In the necklace of the island’s settlements, Povlja stood as early as Roman times, creating thus a long and rich history which is now imprinted in the cultural and historical monuments. The Early Christian basilica, the baptistery, the famous Charter of Povlja and the Povlja lintel, dating from the 12th century, are only a part of the rich cultural heritage. Tourism and catering are the basis of economy together with processing and ennobling of famous Brac’s marble, growing and processing olives as well as fruits of the sea. Mediterranean climate, brilliantly clean sea, untouched nature together with modern apartments, private accommodation, markets and other facilities are a guarantee for a guest to be satisfied in Povlja, and so if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday, try Povlja.
