Dear guests, My apartment is located on a central location in Zadar's old town. It is on the third floor of a walk-up building. It has great views of the sea, promenade, and Zadar's historic monuments - the ancient Roman forum and the church of St. Donatus from the 9th century. Right around the corner you have many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from, and to experience Zadar's night life you only have to walk 5 minutes from the apartment. All, of this, in my opinion, is the best part of staying with us. Another really good reason is the apartment itself. It has been newly renovated and furnished spring and summer of 2016, and the spring of 2024, so everything is new and fresh. You can chill out in the apartment, cook yourself a nice breakfast and have coffee before going out and seizing the day!

I graduated from ACMT in Dubrovnik, which is a part of Rochester University in New York. Currenty I work as an English teacher and translator. I was born in Zadar and I lived in San Pedro, California, Dubrovnik and Zagreb. I am living in Zadar again, I guess that home is where the heart is, and vice versa! My favourite things to do are spending time with my family, going to the island of Ugljan in the summer - the sea on the islands is the most beautiful - and when I'm in town I enjoy having coffee and going for dinner in the old town - this part of town is the most vibrant and fun year round.

The old town is interesting because it has many churches, museums and other historic artifacts you have to see. You can take a stroll on the sea promenade at sunset and experience the best view from the Sea Organ and enjoy the light show at the Greeting to the Sun. After sun down, you can have a great dinner at one of the many small restaurants in Varos, and keep on having a good time in the bars which are also located there. If you enjoy nature, you can visit the Plitvica Lakes national park, you can go see the Krka waterfalls, or the Kornati islands. If you are more adventurous, you can go rock climbing in Paklenica or rafting on river Zrmanja. If you just want to chill on the beach, and sleep off any hangover, there are many beaches in Zadar. The closest is the city beach on Kolovare (10 min on foot) and there are beaches on Puntamnika, Borik or Diklo - basically, we're right on the sea so there are beaches everywhere! If you want to buy a souvenir of your vacation, there are many little shops just below your apartment. There is a great open air farmers market where you can score the freshest produce which is much more affordable than in Europe
