Sveti Petar (St. Peter) is a small village between Biograd and Zadar. It is a part of Zadar’s Riviera settled on a coast of Pašman’s canal. With just about 300 of permanent residents living in about 80 houses, and another 200 something vacation houses, Sveti Petar is like ‘Beverly hills’ of the town Zadar. Sveti Petar has a great number of clean and pretty beaches. Rovanj, Portina, Fer, Kod bunara, Kraljićka, Punta are just few names of those beach jewels. Residents take care of them and they look better from year to year. They are all quite unreachable, since the shore line of Sveti Petar is accessible only by narrow paths, and some beaches, like Rovanj for example, even harder. The advantages of Sveti Petar are, beside good accommodation in private apartments, different amusement facilities, good traffic connections, closeness of airport, ferryboat, as well as few National parks and Parks of nature – a great one day trip destinations.
