A genuine retreat to relax, release and enjoy the senses. Become one with nature and unwind. While enjoying 360 views, one can even see the island of Aegina from the balcony. A quick ride to Sounio, to the Temple of Poseidon were as mythology goes King Aegeas jumped on to the sea as he saw the ships were returning with black sails from the Minotaur in Crete, I 'll let you look up the story. Everywhere along the coast, you may find small litttle tavernas for ouzo and delicacies. Also, Thymari is 20 minutes for the rumble and the tumble in Glyfada the most VIP part of Athens, with luxury shopping, restaurants and posh clubs. Very close tp Athens airport only 20 minutes away. The beach is a 15 minute walk, or if you chose to stay by the 60sqm pool, you will enjoy the cleanest water as we use electrolysis technology for the best experience. If you want to become one with nature our retreat is the one for you!
Arleen and Paris are Greek Americans who decided to move back to Greece for their love of nature. They decided to share this retreat with others so that they can enjoy the same experience. Living in Thymari, allows them to enjoy nature while combining panoramic views of the sea and mountains. They enjoy hiking in the mountain after a morning coffee amidst olive trees and wild flowers, while the smell in the air is full of aroma from the wild oregano bushes growing in the mountain. Then, they stroll down for a morning swim at the quaint little beach cove that has pebbles and crystal clear waters at the bottom of the hill. Thymari is also ideal for water sports. They love windsurfing, catamaran sailing and more! After an afternoon siesta, they take their Vespa and ride on the coast to Sounio for an aperitivo while overlooking the the temple of Poseidon and then back to the house for an unforgetable, unfiltered sunset - better than Santorini! Also, Arleen love to go horsebackriding near by and every now and then they take a try at scubadiving as well. Most of all, what they enjoy the most is the peace of mind that they feel when staying at their summers house in Thimari.
