The nearby village and wonderful beach of Plaka overlooking the famous island of Spinalonga is a short drive away through breath-taking countryside. There are many beaches within 10 minutes drive. Plaka and the island of Spinalonga are great places to visit. Another beach village Elounda is just along the coast from Plaka where one can cross over the sea causeway to rocky private coves and family beaches.
