"Nisaki-Mathraki translates to 'Small Island named Mathraki' in Greek. The challenges of the 2020 pandemic underscored the importance of escaping urban environments and returning to rural, secure locations with ample space. Chris and his wife chose to embark on a retreat to Mathraki, where they own a residence. During their six-month stay, they discovered that Mathraki is a paradise for sea lovers, naturalists, and provides an ideal hilly setting for intensive training in endurance, gymnastics, and Olympic weightlifting. Inspired by their experience, they established Nisaki Mathraki—an experiential vacation focused on well-being, health, activity, nature, and exceptional cuisine. Chris's wife is passionate about athletics, cooking, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She is certified to train others and actively competes. Chris, with interests in sailing, hospitality, and finance, and impressive engineering skills, complements her pursuits. Together, we extend a warm welcome to our extraordinary retreat."

For nature enthusiasts, our island boasts an extensive network of footpaths perfect for hiking. Additionally, 13 kilometers of paved roads wind through the landscape, ideal for leisurely walks, golf cart rides, or e-bike adventures (all available for rent upon booking). Most of our properties have undergone full renovations and feature a range of modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. For budget-conscious travelers, we also offer select economy rooms with more basic facilities. Experience the best of island living, whether you prefer seaside relaxation or hilltop vistas surrounded by ancient olive trees. Also enjoy a daily Royal Brunch, access to a complete gym, and dinner at our two island tavernas. Beach towels, loungers and umbrellas with beach food and cocktails is also umong the services we provide.
