A traditionally built, single unit family building in a country style, built in the middle of an olive grove, comprised of 4.000 olive trees that looks off to the sea. It has a spacious traditional karpathian “sofa’’ (loft) that can easily sleep up to 4 people along with a roomy clothes closet. The building also has a kitchenette with complete refrigerators and necessary utensils as well as a modern bathroom with shower - in short everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Its open air patio (front yard) lets our guests enjoy the sun at all hours of the day along with the lovely view of the endless sea. The cottage is equipped with a photo-voltaic installation offering energy autonomy as well as independent (utilities) sewage and water system. It has been built according to the latest bioclimatic and ecological standards.
Very near to Diaphani, port of the magical, traditional village of Olympos Karpathos, is the coastal area Meres, where you will find the newly built cottage “Elaeon”. The cottage “Elaeon’’ is situated 3km South of Diaphani village and is reached by a country road suitable for 4x4 car. It is 100m from the nearest small beach while 800m to the South, you will find the charming pebbled beach “Apokapos’’ or “Papa-Mina’’ and 1.5km to the North you will find the beach "Kampi" easily reached by car.
