Brundish is located a short drive away from a number of picturesque villages and towns including Framlingham, Badingham and Earl Soham. If you enjoy walking there are numerous paths in the area or head over to the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. RSPB Minsmere is near Dunwich and there are lots of opportunities for wildlife watching while exploring the heathland on foot. There are also a number of cycling routes in the area to take you further afield, Suffolk Cycle Hire can help with bikes if you are interested. Framlingham is a short drive from Brundish and well worth a visit. The market place has a number of independent shops and a busy market held on Saturdays and Tuesdays. The Castle is a wonderful site to visit and there are a number of events on throughout the year. Leo's Deli has lots of tasty treats if you fancy a picnic or head to The Dancing Goat for a hot chocolate while you watch the world go by in the market square. There are a number of good pubs in the area which are worth a visit. Try the Queen in Dennington or The White Horse in Badingham for home cooked food made with local produce.
