Our fabulous open-plan rustic stable suites are recently converted from the original Racing Stables Stud Farm, where famous race horse stallions used to reside. Expertly converted to high quality luxury accommodation, full of rural charm and character. Extremely well insulated and lined with local Crowcombe Red Cedar, a delightfully peaceful rural retreat! Open plan in design the stable suites have a super comfy pocket-sprung king-size bed, with the addition of a sofa bed in the same space that makes a small 4ft double. There is a deluxe en-suite shower room. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave/grill, 2-ring induction hob plus a toaster and kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. We have also included a flat-screen smart TV. Most suitable for 2 adults with extra sleeping capacity on the small double sofa bed (Please request the extra bedding if required, if you are a 2 person booking). Perfect for friends and couples or small families especially if you wanted to rent both cabins for exclusive use. Well behaved friendly dogs are welcome for an extra charge. Up to 2 dogs maximum per cabin. The cabins are not suitable for babies or toddlers, therefore we recommend children of age 5+.

Sally and Jonathan live here at the farmhouse with two teenagers, two ponies, a Jack Russell, and not forgetting the 2 year old tom cat who patrols the farm looking for mice and anything else that moves! Sally is a local wildlife artist who has specialised in painting Endangered animals with the aim of raising awareness to their plight, fund raising for WWF. You will find a few examples of her paintings on the walls of your cabin from exotic creatures of the savannah to local British wildlife. Triscombe is a tiny hamlet at the foot of the Quantock hills, famous for its coombes, woodland valleys and open moorland, perfect for mountain biking, walking and horse riding. You can walk or cycle direct from your door up the rather steep hill, or you could drive to one of the various car parks found at the top, at Triscombe Stone, Crowcombe Park Gate or Lydeard Hill.
