This unique place has a style all its own. Inspired by Dracula's legend and real facts, this place has been designed to give you thrills, to transport you in remote times of a misterious and intriguing part of Romania. Count Dracula, known in the history as Vlad Tepes the Impaler, has been a legendary figure that inspired fantastic stories and the bravery and myth about his life has been written in many books and has inpired many movies. Enjoy a traditional Transylvanian style house and descend! You are not alone! Please be aware that the flat is on the ground floor of an end of terrace town house. On the first floor there is another airbnb and the 2 flats are separated by a fire door that is permanently locked. You have your own entrance and only the drive is to be shared with them (it works on first arrived first served basis).

Since I was 10, I wanted to become a hotel receptionist. Then I studied Tourism, I`ve got 2 degrees in Tourism Economics, I worked as a travel agent, I developed tailored made holidays for outgoing groups while I was living in Rome, I run my own 27 bedrooms hotel on the beach in Riccione, on Adriatic Riviera till 2015 when I moved to UK with my daughters. Since 2018 I`m running the "smallest hotel" in the world: one room, with en-suite bath, secret mini-kitchen and private garden: my Harry Potterzzz Mansion in York, the heart of the magic stories and the dreaming perfect scenario! In 2022, together with my business partner, we opened Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel in the city centre, in Shambles area. In March 2023 I opened Wednesday's Family Rooms inspired by Addams Family movies and in October 2023 I opened Transylvania House inspired by the legend of Count Dracula, a tribute to my oringin country, Romania. My dream came true and I hope you might feel my passion for hosting once you experience at least one night stay with us! The house is near the University of York and only 15 minutes walking distance from Walmgate in the city centre. There are many families and students living in the area. I wouldn't label it as a quiet area as long it is located in the middle of terraced houses, a normal and popular neighbourhood. Please be aware that upstairs, there is another accommodation, and you may hear noise. Please be respectful and quiet after 10pm. Bus no. 6 every 20 minutes to the city centre, on Alcuin Avenue, just round the corner.
