A motley of independent businesses selling antiques and collectibles are just at your doorsteps! There are a plethora of cafes, patisserie, pubs and eateries within a stone throw away! For the gastronomes - Italian, Indian and Thai on offer including fine dining at The Stones. Less than 2 mins saunter takes one into the picturesque Victorian park of Hall Leys, where a miniature steam train (endearingly named Little David) and boating lake (electric boats) await those with children…or adults young at heart. Take a moment to stand on the four arches Matlock Bridge and watch River Derwent’s soothing cascades. Enjoy the company of the melodic river rapids, flanked by limestone outcrops throughout your half an hour saunter into Matlock Bath.
