Located in a quiet and private close TicketyBoo is a new traditionally built quintessential flint and brick cottage with views overlooking fields . Inside the property offers first class contemporary accommodation and amenities. There is high speed internet and USB sockets in every room. The sitting and living accommodation is open plan and full of light. The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances – including a wine cooler, whilst the dining and living area has a large flat screen TV with streaming services. The two bedrooms have king-size beds and private bath facilities. Outside the garden is south facing with patio, BarBQ and is furnished for al fresco dining. Roomy the cottage also has a downstairs Loo and is triple glazed throughout providing a very comfortable base from which to explore the best of Dorset. Parking for 2 cars.
Located in the heart of the Dorset countryside Cerne Abbas village is a gem with walks and cycling from the doorstep and within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast. There are attractive riverside paths and back ways to explore within the village to admire the setting and the historic buildings. The best known attraction is the Cerne Giant a 55 meter high naked man carved into the hillside and thought to be an Iron Age fertility symbol. Facilities include three historic public houses, tea shop , village store (very good) post office and the Cerne Brewery which puts on live outdoor music events during the summer. There is also an excellent bus service from the village to Dorchester and Sherbourne.
