We are local residents who are passionate about our beautiful Wirral, we love to cycle with our children along the many cycle paths and promenades. We are avid golfers and dog walkers, we love to spend many a summer evening on our local beaches and eating out in the many restaurants the surrounding areas offer.

The Waves is located in the charming seaside town of Hoylake. Hoylake has well and truly had the sporting spotlight shone on it having hosted The Open Championship in both 2006 and 2014, which has further emphasised its already popular position on the map. But this gorgeous town on the tip of the Wirral peninsular is also host to some blissful country walks, a variety of much-loved independent businesses and some simply scrumptious restaurants and bars. Indeed our local restaurant, Julian’s has won several awards and it is literally five doors down from our property. Its not just the food that is mouth-watering, the views here are truly ‘to die for’, in winter the walks along our seaside front are bracingly beautiful and in summer the charms of a traditional British summer time are fully revealed. Ice-creams galore and plenty of traditional family fun!

From the apartment, you are only a five-minute walk away from the sea front, and a short stroll from Hoylake, Manor Road & Meols stations, all served by the Wirral Line and running through to the centre of Liverpool. The line also provides links to New Brighton, Chester, and Ellesmere Port. Bus routes are also available along the main road that connects all three stations, with regular services that give access to the other parts of this beautiful peninsular. If you prefer to come by car, the apartment is simple to find, we have a lovely, elevated position on the main road. Never noisy, the area is home to families and professional people (just like us!) and there is plenty of on street parking on Birkenhead Road, Newton Road or surrounding roads. The property is just a 20 minute drive from the shopping mecca Cheshire oaks. Liverpool is a great city to explore, packed with museums, galleries and rich culture. Home to the Tate gallery, museum of Liverpool and steeped with musical genius. Chester is a beautiful walled historical city, enjoy roaming the city walls and take a boat along the river.
