The Torrs apartments consist of 3 self catering apartments - Dragonfly, Bumblebee and Ladybird. They are on the first floor of a former pub that is now an amazing zero waste shop. There are stone steps up to them, with a solid handrail, so please bear that in mind when booking. Bumblebee has 3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 6, has an enclosed garden and will allow pets. Dragonfly has 4 bedrooms, sleeps up to 9, has 2 bathrooms and a private terrace but does not allow pets. Ladybird, has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 and comes with a fully appointed kitchen and sheltered terrace. We offer a warm comfortable flat where you can feel at home and relax. They are quiet and private spaces but within 2 minutes of cafes, shops, pubs and take aways. There are great transport links with trains to Manchester and Sheffield and buses to Buxton, Stockport, Macclesfield and Hayfield. Alternatively there are walks in all directions from the apartments that will take in the local hills, woods, rivers and canal.

The Torrs is in the Heart of New Mills, on the edge of the Peak District. Built around 1840, it was converted into holiday accommodation in 2016 (with a shop on the ground floor). There are three apartments, Bumblebee, Dragonfly and Ladybird, all available all year round. Bumblebee is a pet friendly three bedroom self-catering apartment sleeping up to 6 people. It has an enclosed garden with play house. Dragonfly is a spacious four bedroom self-catering apartment with 2 bathrooms sleeping up to 9 people. It has a well-appointed kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The bi-fold doors open out onto your private terrace. Ladybird, has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 and comes with a fully appointed kitchen and sheltered terrace. They can be booked together for larger group, accommodating up to 19 people. The first floor apartments provide modern, warm, and comfortable accommodation and offers great access to the town centre and public transport. It has proven to be a popular place for friends and family to come together and spend some time exploring this delightful region. The apartments are furnished with a tasteful range of furniture and are accessed via an external staircase. All of the bedrooms are refreshingly bright and airy and the kitchen equipped with all you should need. Wifi, Netflix, electricity, heating, linen and towels are all included free of charge.

The fantastic real ale pubs, cafés, independent shops, artisan market stalls and continental restaurants of New Mills come right on your doorstep. Scenery-filled walks are in all direction without a car. New Mills is set in an area of spectacular natural beauty, take a stroll along the award-winning Millennium Walkway to where the River Sett joins the River Goyt. Linked to this is the Sett Valley Trail leading to Hayfield, a small, picturesque village at the foot of the idyllic Kinder Scout.
