Situated 15 minutes’ drive from Guildford town centre, The Squirrel is a listed 16th-century building which has been refurbished to include modern features such as free WiFi in public areas and rooms with iPod docking stations. A flat-screen TV with DVD player is provided with each room at The Squirrel, as well as a private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. A variety of seasonal dishes are served in the on-site restaurant and ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible. Real ales are served in the bar. Guests can choose from a breakfast menu including continental and cooked options, available for an additional cost. The entrance to South Downs National Park is a 20-minute drive away and features ancient woodlands, traditional villages and activities such as hiking, cycling and horse riding.

Property information

The Squirrel Inn Country Pub & Dining in Hurtmore provide Bed and Breakfast accommodation "The Cottages". Conveniently located for Godalming and Guildford just off the A3, half way between Portsmouth and London, and within easy reach of many interesting places in this beautiful area. "The Cottages" are an ideal base for both business and leisure guests. We have eight comfortable en-suite or private bathroom rooms: five doubles and three single. The building is a listed 16th Century so expect a few low beams and a few creaky floorboards which add to the character! We are now offering a lovely Breakfast Menu to include Full English, Continental or a pack lunch to take away for those leaving early! All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen TV/DVD ALL OF OUR ROOMS ARE IN A SEPARATE BUILDING away FROM THE PUB. WE ARE ALSO OFFERING A TAKE AWAY AND DELIVERY MENU WITH BIG SAVINGS! subject to terms and conditions.
