Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of properties throughout the region. From the start we were determined to build up a reputation for offering only the best of properties. The company has grown, but everyone involved still holds true to the combination of commitment and professionalism that is the foundation of the company's success. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

The Retreat is a beautifully presented, peaceful, spacious pent-house apartment with modern furnishings. This property is located in the heart of Sidmouth and perfect for couples or families wanting to explore the local area. There is plenty of space to relax in the apartment after a day out and about. There are views across the rooftops to Salcombe Hill. The property is an ideal base for exploring Sidmouth and the many surrounding towns and villages. The bus stop is close by so a car is not essential. Situated in the heart of Sidmouth town centre, the apartment is within a short 2-minute level walk of the beach and shops. The cricket club, tennis courts, bowls, croquet and award-winning gardens are nearby. There are water sports such as kayaking and paddle boarding available in the summer, fabulous coastal walks along the famous Jurassic coast offer stunning views at any time of the year. There are four steps into the building, then the option either using the stairs, or the elevator to the second floor. There is then a flight of stairs to the entrance of the apartment. The entrance hall has rooms leading off from it, with a light and open dining room in the centre. There is a well-furnished lounge with comfortable seating options. Well-equipped modern kitchen with integrated appliances. Two lovely bedrooms one with twin beds and one with a double bed. Modern bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Private secure parking space for one small to medium sized car.

We have a range of holiday cottages in Sidmouth, with its abundance of independent shops it is well worth a visit, whilst the esplanade overlooks the picturesque and tranquil beach. Towards the western end of the promenade an area of sand is uncovered at low tide, along with rock pools perfect for adventures with the kids. A short walk around the pathway under the red sandstone cliffs you can find Jacobs Ladder which offers a mile of sandy beach at low tide and colourful beach huts. Climb up Jacobs Ladder to find Connaught Gardens, here there is the most wonderful café offering the biggest homemade cakes you have ever seen! Each Sunday evening throughout the summer you can sit and watch the Sidmouth Town Band play. The town and the seafront offer a wide range of activities including Paddleboarding & Kayaking, while quiet serenity can be enjoyed in the town’s gardens and outskirts. Looking for what to do in Sidmouth? Visitors can take advantage of the beautiful walks along The South West Coast Path and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast by foot or boat. There are a range of family activities such as paddleboarding, the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Seaton Tramway to keep the whole family entertained.
