Aptly named The Pump House, this lovely property with a large garden, is located directly alongside the former Great Eastern Railway. Once the Goods Shed and Pump House of the railway station, this holiday home is located in the Old Station House grounds which is the owner’s private residence and also encompasses a small caravan site (5 pitches). Upon entry to the property, you will be fascinated by the old well, which is now covered with a safety viewing glass and presents a wonderful feature. The property is furnished and equipped for comfort and has the added benefit of being on one level. There is direct access onto the old track-bed which is now a 26 mile footpath, bridleway and cycle route known as Marriott’s Way. This lovely facility follows the disused railway line between Norwich and Aylsham, linking up to further footpaths and trails. Whether you are a casual walker, rambler or cyclist, you will delight at the rich habitat and wildlife on the many footpaths and cycle routes in the area. For those less mobile, there are suitable surfaces along much of its length. The village of Cawston is just a few minutes’ walk and offers a deli/café, shop and pub.
