After divorcing in August 2021, I bought ‘The Oyster Shell’ at Park Holidays, Whitstable to be nearer to the sea and for peace and quiet with my 12 year old Irish Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier, Charlie (aka Charlie Warley). We’ve had some fantastic times and made some wonderful memories, with lovely walks around Clowes Wood, visiting Whistable and Herne Bay, as well as playing on the beach and even swimming in the sea. It’s now time for new adventures!

Whitstable is a beautiful place to visit with it's Oyster Festival and quirky shops and entertainment all year round. Stroll in to Tankerton (approx 20mins), with it’s small local shops, or further on to Whitstable (approx 50mins), for it’s great seafood cafés, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Herne Bay is only 10mins by car and Canterbury with its bustling high street is under 15mins away. Regular bus services run to both from outside the holiday park. Take a walk in Clowes wood, explore historical sites or just soak up the seaside sunshine!
