    Lovely property (the photos didn’t do it justice), a pleasant 10/15 minute stroll down the high street to the seafront. Dog friendly, plenty of space, aircon, easy parking and a hot tub.

Company information

We love The Old Schoolhouse, and take great pride in being able to offer such a unique building to visitors. We live locally so although you can use our self check-in and are left in peace, we are just around the corner if you need anything. We also check the hot tubs daily, so please expect to see us wandering around, cleaning and gardening. We also run "Number 8", a Hotel in central Canterbury which is available to book through us or here. Number 8 offers 2 rooms and 4 suites with bedroom and lounge with sofa bed, perfect for exploring the city on foot. Parking is available and dogs are welcome.

Property information

The Old Schoolhouse is unique in Whitstable, offering four separate holiday homes in one gorgeous, character-filled building. Each house has its own private entrance, bathroom(s), kitchen, lounge and bedrooms. Each also now has a private garden space with private hot tub. We have 4 outdoor sitting areas, each for private use. Each has a dining area, a BBQ, and a private jacuzzi hot tub. "Number 4" is directly in its garden space; 1, 2&3 have a gated space just across the path. (Please do not book for the hot tub alone, just in case they have a maintenance issue.) We provide bath robes and spa towels for the hot tubs, you just need swimwear and flip flops. We offer flexible accommodation for families, couples, babies and dogs... perfect for multi-generation meet-ups and groups of families wanting a little bit of private space each. Please note that we are not a party venue, we have strict rules. Houses 2,3 and 4 each have 2 parking spaces, with 2 EV chargers available on request. Number 1 has one space, but another is possible if available (on request). We also provide cots with bedding, a high chair, changing mat and baby bath. Four-legged friends are always welcome! We keep a washable dog bed in each house, and 2 bowls. The EV charger is Type 2, you need your own cable but it is free to use, just plug in and relax!

Neighbourhood information

The Old Schoolhouse is nestled into a quiet, hidden spot just off the high street, just a few minutes' stroll from the beach, harbour and all the wonderful shops and cafes Whitstable has to offer. Just across the street you can find hidden walkways to explore, as well as direct access to varied dog walking opportunities. There is a Co-Op supermarket just across the street, plus all the main supermarkets are close by for your convenience.
