Property information

This fine house stands in its own parkland near North Tuddenham. The poet William Cowper stayed in the original rectory, but the present building dates from 1852. It has been refurbished to provide a holiday retreat for up to 14 guests.

Information correct at time of writing. There is a pub in the village of North Tuddenham. There are riding stables nearby. Situated in the upspoilt rural centre of Norfolk, it is ideally located for exploring the coast (35 minutes' drive), the Broads (30 minutes) and the historic city of Norwich (20 minutes). Enjoy one of the many cycle paths throughout this beautiful countryside with Cycle Hire. Norfolk Adventure, offering activities such as boat tours, rowing, canoeing, kayaking and water zorbing. Thetford Forest, ideal for cycling, walking, running and riding, adventure play and Go Ape. Explore Blakeney National Nature Reserve. Wheatfen nature reserve at Surlingham in the Norfolk Broads with an abundance of footpaths and cycle paths. Explore The Boudicca Way between and Norwich railway stations. The Fens are an excellent place to visit for fishing enthusiasts. Play a round of golf at one of the many course including Barnham Broom Golf & Country Club, Denver Golf Club, Dunston Hall Golf Club, Fakenham Golf Club or Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club.
