The Fifie is a delightful ground floor holiday cottage apartment situated just a 100 yards from the picturesque harbour of St Monans, and only a 20 min drive from St Andrews. It is an immaculately presented and set in a Grade C listed building with red pan-tiled roof and thick stone walls. The accommodation is situated all on one level, which is particularly beneficial to those of impaired mobility as all the rooms lead off from the large welcoming hall. The accommodation provides a stylish, comfortable retreat whatever the season. A spacious, contemporary accommodation which has been thoughtfully furnished for comfort and ease and is literally a minutes walk from the old harbour and sea front at St Monans, the smallest of Fifes East Neuk fishing villages.

I believe it is important to imagine what I would want in comfortable and welcoming accommodation - then provide that homely approach. As a young family I remember the excitement of arriving for that holiday break and feeling the hustle and bustle of home life just melting away for a few days - now as a host I don't take that responsibility to my guests lightly. I am very passionate about Tai Chi. My hobbies include gardening, Genealogy and Photography.

This quiet harbour village overlooks the Firth of Forth, having spectacular views across to North Berwick, The Isle of May and Bass Rock. From your front door you can explore the quaint streets and lanes, historic buildings, an old windmill that once powered the salt panning industry and an old 14th Century church, shops and restaurants, an award winning cafe and an excellent seafood restaurant overlooking the harbour. If fish is on your menu tonight, there are a number of sheds in the village selling freshly caught local sea food, or you can catch your own from the sea front! There is a good local hotel only moments away and a seafood restaurant just 5 minutes walk. The Fife Coastal Path runs through the village, with historic castles, pretty fishing villages and many sandy beaches and coves to visit along the way. Activities for all interests locally: golf, 3 miles and St Andrews, sandy beaches, watersports, Art exhibitions, Sea Life Centre, historic houses and gardens. This area is famous for golf with more than 40 golf courses in Fife, from the famous fairways of St. Andrews to the more traditional links courses.
