The Dolls House is a traditional Norfolk cottage dating from around 1880. The space has been completely renovated with all the luxuries you will need for a cosy getaway. The traditional features of the cottage; exposed brickwork, double ended woodburner and winding staircase mix perfectly with the brand new fitted kitchen, electric shower and super cosy beds. Nestled in the heart of historic Holt, you are perfectly located to explore the array of shops, restaurants and cafes on offer.
I'm a mum to my 3 year old daughter, Penny and wife to my builder husband, Ben. We live by the sea in Cromer with our sausage dog, Frankie. We love weekends away, cosy cottages, open fires and pubs that serve a proper pint. We host three little hideaways of our own on the north Norfolk Coast, a cottage in Lavenham and co-host for others. We are passionate about Norfolk and lucky enough to call home. We live in Cromer and so can be with you in 15 minutes if you need us We usually allow guests to check in and come and go as they please, but are more than happy to meet you and show you around.
Holt is a bustling town with classy boutique clothes and lifestyle shops, quirky cafes, vintage/antiques and gorgeous places to eat. The famous Byfords is at the end of the Weston Square, Wells deli just a minute away, the beautiful Folleys is perfect for afternoon tea or a slice of gorgeous homemade cake. I also manage our neighbouring cottage, Anchor Cottage which sleeps 4 Holt is a busy little place and you can get everywhere you need to on foot. Nearby you’ve got Sheringham and Cromer, accessible by train or car - or bike!
