Recently refurbished self-catering holiday cottages, nestled along the Slieve Croob Scenic Loop between Castlewellan and Dromara. We have three units available, 2 two bedrooms cottages and a one-bedroom flat all varying in price and offering different unique features to suit all needs. Enjoy a relaxing breakaway and switch off from the world in our cosy yet spacious holiday cottages. Explore the many fantastic surrounding areas or simply put your feet up and unwind. Boasting wood-fired stoves and hot tub in one of our cottages, I am sure this won't be too difficult to achieve while you take in the breath-taking countryside views.
I live in the local area and love to travel. I would hike the fabulous Mountains of Mourne regularly and would highly recommend it to anyone.
The Cottages @ Slievenisky. Our Cottages are located at the foot of Slieve Croob, 5 miles out of Castlewellan in the very quiet and peaceful countryside known as Slievenisky. Your nearest neighbours will mostly consist of the local sheep and cows but don't worry they are pretty friendly.. With the cottages being 350m above sea level nestled within a small valley the views on a clear day are fabulous. Sea views and the Mountains of Mourne in particular. Enjoy a relaxing break away with us and explore the many superb local surrounding areas with Slieve Croob right on your doorstep. There are lots of local popular hot spots nearby including the beautiful Tollymore and Castlewellan Forest Parks, the superb Mourne Mountains and not forgetting the lovely local towns such as Dromara, Dundrum and Newcastle only a short drive away. Murlough beach is also easily accessible. There sure is plenty to see and do.
