The Cottage at Catford House on the Brendon Hills is ideal for couples looking for a quiet get away and wanting to explore Exmoor. The property is attached to the owner's house next door but benefits from a private entrance, drive and private parking. The Cottage has a private and enclosed lawn garden and a courtyard complete with table and chairs, ideal for dining alfresco and relaxing. Guests will be welcomed with a hospitality pack of a bottle of sparkling wine, homemade scones with clotted cream and local jam. In the kitchen you will find tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper to get your holiday off to a good start - we would ask that you replenish what you use. A pint of milk will be in the fridge. Sleeps up to 2 guests in one bedroom with King-size double bed (can be made into twin beds on request). En suite shower room (no bath). Open plan living and dining area. Refurbished and fully equipped kitchen.1 dog welcome for supplement of 30 GBP. Wifi, electric heating and one basket of logs is included. Neighbourhood information

Located on the Brendon Hills close to two reservoirs, Clatworthy and Wimbleball. This area is ideal for walking, fishing and water sports and just outside the boundary of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. The lovely towns of Dunster and Dulverton nearby. Wiveliscombe only 10 minutes for provisions, having an excellent butchers, deli and supermarkets. The North Coast is 30 minutes away and the South Coast just over an hour away.
