The Coorie Caravan is a privately owned caravan available for short breaks, long weekends, weekly or fortnightly stays (contact us for longer stays please) The Coorie Caravan is a 3 birth static caravan a stone's throw away from the glorious Embo beaches. We have a double bedroom (sleeps 2) and two single bedrooms (each sleeping 2). A shower room with separate toilet. The kitchen has everything you need to cook family or romantic meals, prepare leisurely brunches or pack up a picnic. The dining area has comfortable seats for eating, board games, evening cards with beautiful light for drawing, reading or relaxing. Our lounge will comfortably seat all guest, perfect for relaxing, reading or watching movies. At the entrance to the caravan is a space to hang items and decent size storage area. Coorie (the old Gaelic cossgach 'shug' or 'cozy' is the Scottish art of deriving comfort, well being and energy from wild landscapes and that is certainly true of the relaxed atmosphere of the park's perfect beachside location with stunning views of the Dornoch Firth. Enjoy lazy days on the park, head to the historic cathedral town of Dornoch or explore nearby Castles, waterfalls, stunning scenery & wildlife. The Coorie Caravan offers direct access to Embo beach: fine, white sands, amazing sand dunes, dolphin, seals and bird spotting.

Welcome to Grannie's Heilan hame! There is plenty space to park your car near the caravan. The speed limit on the park is 10mph. In the Entertainment Complex you will find Reception, where you can purchase your holiday passes and enquire about Grannie Mac's Entertainment Lounge which offers family entertainment - including talent shows, bingo, live music, comedians, competitions, game shows and much more. You can also book the Heated Indoor Pool, Sauna and access the crazy golf, tennis & soft play. There is also access to the Convenience store, Fish & Chip Shop, Amusements and the Laundrette. The Coast Bar & Kitchen serving Costa Coffee offers al fresco dining & patio with amazing views. There is also a dog friendly eating area. The nearest small town to Embo is Dornoch - you can easily walk from Embo, a seven mile round trip. There is a small Co-op, Spar and the beautiful Dornoch Stores, friendly Scottish pubs and plenty gorgeous wee coffee shops. Staying in the Coorie Caravan means you have the majestic area of Sutherland on your doorstep to explore. Please contact the Park's Reception in advance to gain full access to the holidays Paris's full facilities - it is advisable to book in advance. The parks address is Grannies, Heilan Hame, Station Road, Dornoch, IV25 3QD Scotland The Park is Pet friendly but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and you MUST clean up after your dog. Wi-Fi is available - please contact reception for the details. Free Parking next to the caravan is available. There are a pair of resident otters living in the wee stream near the caravan park. If you head out early for a walk along the beach, you may be lucky enough to see them swimming & cleaning themselves in the stream or playing & fishing for crab and mollusc in the sea.
