If you are looking for a quiet country retreat, but with access to local town amenities, this is the cottage for you. In case you need a hand for local information or suggestions on places to go, we are local to the area. For guests staying longer than a week we can offer exceptionally good rates, and a weekly cleaning and linen service

Property information

The cottage is suited for those who like a quirky character property - look out for the secret staircase. There is a warm welcoming cottage feel, enhanced by the wood burning fire in the main living room. You can tinkle on the ivories of the mini grand piano, or relax in the library area, or the peace of the secret garden, or when the weather is wet huddle in the outdoor den. A special feature is the indoor jacuzzi - careful with the bubbles.

This a beautiful detached cottage with a well developed garden, and in a small quiet community setting. The cottage is picturesquely located adjacent to a bubbling beck and humped back bridge, and perfect for a quiet retreat holiday. Situated approximately 4 miles is Millom where visitors can visit the beach and local coastal boating/sailing amenities. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and bars located within the town.
