One bedroom, garden views from the balcony. Parking for one car. King sized bed, en-suite shower, well equipped kitchen with oven/microwave and hob, coffee machine, washing machine, sitting room with TV. Very comfortably accommodates 2 people. There is also a sofa bed in the living area (small double) to accommodate up to 2 more, but please note that access to the shower room is through the bedroom. There are 3 or 4 steps to access. The Boat House is a self contained annexe adjacent to the house, nestled in the garden which provides pretty garden views and backing onto a small wooded area. It has a light, bright and airy feel. It is comfortable and inviting while being a really good base from which to explore St Ives and the surrounding area. It is centrally heated, so comfortable for both summer and winter stays. The location is ideal for those looking for a fun packed outdoors holiday full of surf and sun, as well as those who prefer, galleries, shops and good food. The immediate area is residential so please respect the neighbours. I supply bathroom towels but you may want to bring beach towels. Pests are welcome, there will be an additional charge of per stay, to be paid during your visit. EV charger is available for gust use upon request, just ask.

I love pottery, sailing and walking on the sand dunes and beaches. I enjoy being outdoors and I a good meal out with friends. I have lived in Cornwall for more than 25 years, I have raised 2 children here and would not live anywhere else, it is a special place with lots to offer.

The Beach House is only a few minutes walk from the award winning beach at Carbis Bay, where you can swim, hire paddle boards and kayaks in the summer. Carbis Bay has it's own restaurants, a supermarket and a local shop and post office. At the beach there is a restaurant and cafe, and in the hotel conservatory you can enjoy cream teas, lunches and afternoon teas. With the local branch line train running between Carbis Bay and St Ives and a bus stop just outside the property it is easy to get into St Ives town with it's abundance of restaurants, pubs, boutique shops and art galleries, pasties, fudge and cream teas galore. Local outdoor activities include walking, sailing, surfing and horse riding. Walk along the footpath to the beach following the route of the stream which runs from the top of the hill. Or walk to the top of the hill to local landmark Knills Monument, and enjoy the panoramic views of the coast and surrounding countryside. Follow the coast path eastward to the quiet Porth Kidney beach, which can only be accessed via footpath. Surf at beaches in St Ives and Hayle. Explore Sand Dunes at Gwithian.
