You couldn’t be better placed than at the Coastal Retreat, situated in Overstrand, a cliff top village that has easy access to the sandy beaches below and stunning coastal paths for some wonderful North Norfolk walks, this location is perfect. Overstrand is an old fishing village that offers amazing cliff views, excellent for bird watching and walkers. At the top of the cliff, you’ll find the Cliff Top Café, at almost 100 years old this café has been a must for visitors across generations, and with its stunning views its popularity is as strong as ever. The coastal paths are perfect for those who enjoy a stroll at the same time as taking in the sea air, Cromer is just a mile and a half away and if you like golf then the Royal Cromer Golf Course is only a few hundred yards away. Overstrand’s Village has a village shop, post office and a recently refurbished pub called The White Horse which is a popular spot for a pub lunch! Don't forget to visit the Seamarge bar and restaurant which is only a short walk away. With Cromer being in such close proximity to the Coastal Retreat it’s a great destination to visit all year round, known for brilliant crabbing, beach relaxation, paddle boarding and not to mention the famous Victorian pier, and award-winning end of pier shows, you’ll have a fab day out with the family. A little further afield the well-regarded town of Holt is only a 30-minute drive away, the town is a great stop and is home to a plethora of antique and book shops, art galleries and places to eat, all of which you’ll find hidden in enchanting courtyards and alleyways. Felbrigg Hall, Garden & Estate, built in the 17th century with immaculate walled gardens, several small orchards and various other delights is only 10 minutes away by car and well worth a visit.
