Cwmberwyn is a peaceful permaculture holding in the heart of Wales. It's an ideal getaway for hikers and cyclists and the wild at heart. Explore the nearby landscape or relax and make the most of the natural resources here on site. To unwind you could spend some time in our wild spaces which include a steep and wooded dingle, a mossy lawn and a forest garden. Cold water lovers can take a dip in our small pond. I have one double room and one twin room to offer on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen space to prepare their meals and help themselves to tea and coffee. Ingredients for breakfast will be available for guests to prepare and on occasion there are some fresh vegetables from the garden available too. There is a downstairs bathroom for guests to use that has a bath and an overhead shower and those here for a longer stay can use the washing machine.

The site is nestled in the spectacular hills just outside Builth Wells and the landscape all around is steeped in history. If you enjoy rambling and exploring the great outdoors you won't be disappointed. We are overlooked by a spectacular iron age hill-camp and cairns adorn many of the closest peaks. We are in a convenient location from which to explore all that mid Wales has to offer. The Elan Valley, Brecon and the Bannau Brycheiniog, and the world-famous book town of Hay-on-Wye can all be reached by car within 40 minutes as well as many other small characterful towns we are lucky to have in mid Wales.
