Our cosy detached annexe has all you need to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay here in Albourne, West Sussex, near the South Downs National Park. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. Single sachets of tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided, as is salt, pepper and olive oil for cooking. Link to the Wi-Fi, kick back and relax in front of the 32’’ Samsung smart TV or listen to some music on the smart speaker. Finished in early 2024, the fully furnished space includes a brand-new double bed and mattress, bedside tables, sofa, coffee table, breakfast bar and chest of drawers. The ensuite shower room with WC includes a two-pin plug point and heated towel rail. All towels (and bed linen) are included as standard. Set back from the road, park your vehicle in the dedicated guest parking space on the property. If you wish to bring bikes, a secure lock up is available for your use. Independently access the property through the use of a key safe. Access your own garden and seating area and relax with a drink on summer evenings. Don your wellies or walking shoes and explore the multiple local footpaths. For stunning panoramic views, the South Downs National Park is walkable for the adventurous. Alternatively, make the short drive to Devil’s Dyke or the foot of Wolstonbury Hill to give yourself a head start.

We are a mile away from the village of Hurstpierpoint, easily accessed via a flat footpath alongside main carriageways. The village has many dining options including typical British gastropub cuisine, an Indian restaurant, a national award-winning pizza restaurant, and our favourite, a microbrewery taproom which offers delicious burgers and bar snacks. We are also accessible by Deliveroo. Hickstead Showground is 1.5 miles away and Brighton is roughly 5 miles south of us. Brighton can be accessed by bus in approximately 30 minutes from a nearby bus stop. Alternatively, by car, the city centre can be reached within 15 minutes. The national cycle route linking London and Brighton is also close by. Our local railway station Hassocks (3 miles away) is well served by the main London-Brighton line.
