This simple but comfortable annex has everything needed for your stay. A full kitchen including washing machine and fridge freezer. The living/ dining space is perfect to relax in after a busy day. there is a breakfast bar come work station TV and very good WiFi connection. The bedroom has a double bed with plenty of storage. Then bathroom with efficient hot shower wash hand basin and loo. On arrival you will find milk and juice in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar..and a little sweet treat to have with your cuppa.
I love this area and all it has to offer. Long walks and trips to the beach. But also wandering around Exeter's museums and the cathedral. I like to sketch the many incredible buildings in and around Ottery. I swim..a lot. And when I'm not doing that I am a private chef.
Ottery St Mary is a very historical town. Birth place of Samuel Taylor Coleridge and at one point home to Sir Walter Raleigh. St Marys church is of particular historical interest too. There are many lovely shops in the town. A bakers, a butcher, and an amazing cheese and wine shop ( also green grocer) It is a very dog friendly place . Within waking distance of the annex there are pubs and restaurants but also take away if you don't feel like cooking. There are several coastal destinations a short drive away including Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis. During the summer months there are a lot of festivals down this way including Beautiful Days and Sidmouth Jazz week. But for us the biggest night is 5th November for the Tar Barrels which have to be seen to e believed!!!
