Sleep in the hugely comfortable, lavender-scented bed in this sunny apartment fitted out to the highest standard - and so centrally situated that you can walk, in 10-15 minutes, to Buckingham Palace.. Our aim has been to create a top-quality-boutique-hotel-experience in a unique self-catering apartment - while fitting it out for families, including with young children. So there is a 150 cm wide main bed, and a similarly sized sofa bed, as well as cot and high chair. This lovely apartment is situated on the second floor of a Victorian period house (built in 1855); and interior-designed in soft grey, 'cashmere’ and mauve. All modern amenities are included - high quality fans for the summer, cozy underfloor (and other) heating for the winter. There are large TVs in both main rooms, a coffee machine plus a full kitchen to make at-home catering easy. The small bathroom is beautifully finished and equipped with toiletries, and we provide two towels per person. This is a family business! The grandparents (Adrienne and Martin - a couple who have worked mainly in the theatre and the arts) bought the apartment in 2001 and have rented it out ever since. It is now owned by their daughter, Juliet - but the whole family manages it, together with a team of professional cleaners and maintenance staff in the locality. We are always on the end of a phone or text to answer any questions; and our housekeeper, who lives locally, can pop round at short notice. We REALLT take care of you!

Pimlico is a small, self-contained 'village', between Chelsea and Westminster, on the River Thames. The street in which the house is located is in the sought-after ‘Pimlico Grid’ – a grid of residential streets built in the mid-19th Century and protected as the Pimlico Conservation Area. Google the postcode SW1V 4HH for the exact location. Most of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance: Buckingham Palace, Tate Britain, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, No 10 Downing Street, the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre, theatres and cinemas - or a short bus or taxi ride (Harrods, the great London Museums), The apartment is a few minutes’ walk from excellent supermarkets, some of them open 24/7, specialist food shops and wonderful restaurants. The transport links are amazing. There are taxis galore and you are under ten minutes’ walk to Victoria Mainline Station and to the nearest Underground station (Victoria Underground in Victoria Mainline Station). The best bus in London stops just before Victoria Station: the Number 24, which carries you past the Westminster Cathedral, and the Houses of Parliament, up to Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Oxford Street.
