Swallow Barn is a secluded, semi-detached cottage near St Kew, handily placed for exploring the famous fishing village of Port Isaac. The house sleeps two people in one bedroom and has a neat bathroom with corner bath. There’s a kitchen and sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area. Outside, an enclosed, shrub and flower-filled back garden with paved patio, garden furniture, awning and chimenea, plus a privately positioned Japanese-style wood-fired hot tub. To the front, a gravelled approach and off road parking for one car. Swallow Barn is a quiet, stylish all-year-round holiday home. Note: No infants under 2 yrs old accepted. Note: Hot tub available by prior arrangement directly with the owners (60 extra for bookings made after 24th July 2023, 40 if made before, fuel provided)

Neighbourhood information

Not far from Port Isaac, St Kew is a small village – the first recorded in Cornwall! - on the north Cornish coast. The village church dates from the fifteenth century and is home to some remarkable stained glass windows. Also in St Kew is a traditional village pub and a golf course, and there is a donkey sanctuary at St Kew Highway. The St Kew Inn also dates from the fifteenth century, and boasts a lovely open fire in winter and a pretty beer garden for sunshine drinks in the summer. There are some lovely walks in the countryside surrounding St Kew, including a circular route through the river valleys.
