Fronted by a two-mile-long expansive sandy beach with panoramic views of Bideford Bay and Lundy Island, the surf lodge is part of the Golden Bay holiday park. The spacious accommodation is situated on a small, friendly and well maintained park just a stone's throw from the beach and amenities. It sleeps six - a king with sea views, a twin and a bed settee. There is a full kitchen opening onto the lounge/diner with comfortable seating and dining table to seat 4. The lounge also has all the comforts of home, with flat screen TV in the lounge. There is a fully tiled shower room, bath and useful separate wc with sink and shaver point. Travel cot and high chair available. WIFI is available on site at an additional charge. There is a large car park serving all the lodges with ample parking for your stay. Perfect for year-round family holidays and short breaks Direct access to Blue Flag beach Tidal Lido pool only 2 minutes walk Short stroll from village shops and eateries Centrally located for many family attractions and places of interest Pet free environment There is laundry room on site available with washing and drying facilities local charges apply
Aside from the peculiarities about how it got its name, Westward Ho! is famous for being a delightful village by the sea. The seafront is one of North Devon’s most popular surfing and swimming spots, as it combines a large expanse of sand with pebbles, grasslands and a diverse beachscape making it perfect for families, sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts alike. The seafront, like most of the coast in this part of Devon, falls into the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers stunning views as well as being a safe, family friendly place. The beach is one of a number of sites that has been awarded a Blue Flag in the county
