Beautifully renovated Victorian house. Great central location, the sea is at the end of the road and its just a few minutes walk to attractions such as Plymouth Hoe, the Pavillions, Tinside Lido and the city centre. Opposite the house is a park with 4 tennis courts, and round the corner there is a children's play park. There are often events going on in the area, and there is a good choice of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

This is a fabulous house which has been in our family since the 1960s, when my Grandmother used to live there, and then my sister so it has many fond memories and is a great location. In Dec 2020 we finished a 6 month refurbishment of the property, which now boasts four really good sized double bedrooms, all with wardrobes and drawers. The house is well equipped, with a selection of books, games, tennis rackets and balls. The newly fitted kitchen has an induction hob, oven, separate combination over / microwave and dishwasher. The rooms are bright and airy. There is a separate cupboard for washing machine and tumble dryer.

There are many local attractions. All the one’s listed below are within walking distance. The Hoe: Amazing Promenade with a beautiful scenic view of Plymouth Sound. Popular legend has it that it was here that Sir Francis Drake was playing bowls when first news of sightings of the invading Spanish Armada was brought to him. Drake then decided to finish his game of bowls before taking action. Also recently installed on the Hoe is a statue of Lady Astor, the first female MP who was from Plymouth. Barbican: 10 minutes walk along the seafront takes you to the Barbican. It’s the oldest part of Plymouth, a delightful old port, full of narrow cobbled streets, Elizabethan warehouses, specialist shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. You can also see the Mayflower steps on the Barbican, from where the Pilgrim fathers set sail for America. Tinside Lido: Plymouth’s outdoor sea water pool (open summer time only) is an amazing place to go swimming or just sunbathe on the terraces. You can take a wetsuit if it’s cold. Run by the council, the staff are very friendly and it’s cheap to gain entry. Plymouth Pavillions: Touring bands, comedians and other entertainers play at the Pavillions.
