Cambusdhu is a 4-bed cottage with wonderful views over Loch Eck and the Argyll Forest. The property, which is within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, has stood for over 100 years and has been home to a forestry family and the ticket office for the long-gone SS Fairy Queen propeller boat. There are two entrances to the property; the main central door equipped with a smart lock and a side kitchen door. The newly installed kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, dual fan oven/grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and cook, bake and kitchenware are provided. To the rear of the kitchen is a discretely located downstairs toilet and utility room. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available, along with simple cleaning and recycling facilities. The dining room with its dramatic windows and views across the loch comfortably seats seven. Meanwhile, the charming sitting room is equipped with board games, smart TV with Netflix, and a wood burning stove. There is WiFi (mobile plan) throughout the property. The bathroom features a luxury bath with overhead and handheld thermostatic shower, underfloor heating, toilet and basin. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided, as well as fluffy cotton towels. Cambusdhu has four bedrooms, two on the bathroom level (a single bed and a small double sofa bed/office). The two main bedrooms sit on the upper level and feature luxurious double- and king-sized beds. Blankets, towels and all the linens (which are 100% cotton) that you may require during your stay are provided. Guests are welcome to enjoy Cambusdhu’s garden with it’s bench seating and views across Loch Eck. Much of the garden is unenclosed making it unsuitable for pets or unsupervised children.
