This charming terraced cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the village of Burgh by Sands on the route of the historic Hadrian's Wall. It is comfortable and cosy with two bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and small private terraced area outside. The cottage is ideally located for trips to the historic city of Carlisle as well as the Solway Firth, The Lake District National Park, Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. The village pub is less than a 5 minute walk away and serves a wide range of good food and drinks. We ask guests to book for at least three nights to keep our costs to a minimum.
The village of Burgh-by-Sands is situated at the end of Hadrian's Wall and has some beautiful country walks along its many footpaths. The historic town of Carlisle is a short drive away with its many shops and restaurants. The Lake District is also a short drive South with its beautiful lakes mountains and towns to visit.
