Stables Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining seating for four guests and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double and a twin, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with lawn and parking is available. Within 5.2 miles you will find a shop and within 0.7 miles, a pub and please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot is also available on request. Stables Cottage is a charming base for your next getaway to Herefordshire. Note: Guests have access to free golf and free fishing as well as a bar/restaurant on site (see opening hours). Note: The stairs up to the twin bedroom are very steep, please take care. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm. Sample Herefordshire's cider or discover Hereford with its fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and the captivating chained library, home to a collection of rare and ancient books. The pretty medieval market town of Ludlow is also close by and makes a great day out, with more than 500 listed buildings and a magnificent castle.
